Performance and application
FASD-308LSi is a corrosion resistant Cr-Ni GMAW wire for welding of 18Cr-8Ni series stainless steel. It has good comprehensive corrosion resistance, and because of the low carbon content makes it have excellent intergranular corrosion resistance. Meanwhile, the high silicon content improves the wettability of welding pool, and weld fusion is better.
This kind of stainless steel is widely used in chemical, food production, various piping and boiler equipment.
