Performance and application
FAFC-316L is a wire suitable for welding type 316 stainless steel, also can be used for welding type 316 stainless steel and type 304 stainless stee l(for example, in working condition with nitric acid). But not for welding type 304 stainless steel. The addition of Mo enhances the corrosion resistance of the alloy in sulfuric acid, chloride and other solutions, and this alloy is widely used in chemical industry and papermaking and other industries.
FAFC-316L is a wire developed for all-position welding using carbon dioxide gas, especially for vertical welding, the slag is easy to remove.
